As a native Texan I grew up in Odessa Texas and went to school in Denver Colorado, Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Denver and worked advertising for Regional Transportation District in Denver. After moving back to Texas I worked for a local Magazine “The Meeting Manager” for Meeting Planners International as production manager and in production and design for all promotional materials. Then I worked a graphic artist and production communication for a local Printer. I then took on my most important job of my life, staying home with my two boys for ten years

I was approached to do some school signs for my son’s school and was offered to teach. So I went back to school and my certification in teaching art in all levels K-12 grade since 1999. I’ve taught at Canyon Creek Christian Academy, Plano Christian Academy and Wylie ISD and currently teach at Lucas Christian Academy.

I was the Vice President of Richardson Civic Art Society, where I have held many positions for the past several years. I am also member of Rockwall Art League , Southwest Watercolor Society, Colored Pencil Society and Christians in the Visual Arts.

My work is in various mediums including watercolor, acrylic, collage and mixed medium and have won various awards over the years.
